How to Install Panels & Attachments

PANEL INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT

The EZ WALL ORGANIZER is designed to be mounted directly into framing (or through sheetrock into framing) with the screws provided. Attachment to any other surface is NOT recommended without first consulting with a knowledgeable hardware representative.

1. Align edge of EZ WALL ORGANIZER panel on centerline of stud. [If mounting into studs through sheetrock, use a stud finder or small nail to locate the stud center].
2. Mark (6) mounting hole positions on wall.
3. Move panel and drill 1/8 diameter holes at marked positions.
4. Attach panel to wall with the (6) #12 x 1-1/4 screws provided. DO NOT TIGHTEN until all screws have been started and panel is level.

Multiple Panels in a Series

When mounting multiple panels in a series, it is recommended that two 14" Accessory Holders (10-AH-014) be installed before securing the screws to ensure accurate slot alignment from panel to panel.

Runner Mounting

RUNNER 8" x 32" INSTALLATION

2. Mark (4) mounting hole positions on wall.
3. Move panel and drill 1/8 diameter holes at marked positions.
4. Attach panel to wall with the (6) #12 x 1-1/4 screws provided. DO NOT TIGHTEN until all screws have been started and panel is level.

Hook Mounting

ATTACHMENT INSTALLATION

The remaining portion of all EZ WALL ORGANIZER attachments have a unique "double offset" design. This design prevents the attachments from unintentionally falling out of the panel, yet still permits easy movement from slot to slot. Installation of a typical Hook is shown below.

1. Slip the upper portion of the rear tang through the slot in the panel in an upward motion as shown.
2. Rotate the body of the tang into the slot and lower the Hook so the rotation arc in the tang rests on the panel.
3. Lift the Hook and rotate lower end of the Hook toward the panel.
4. Lower the Hook until the positioning slot in tang is seated on the panel.

A simple "up, down, up, down" motion is all that is required to install the Hook.
